Metzeler is a german brand, which is a reference in the produce of tires for motorcycles for more than a century. Founded in 1873 Metzeler debuted with the production of rubber products. In 1892 began the production of tires for bicycles and motorcycles. Metzeler early began to specialize in tires for motorcycle races and in 1937 the german brand has produced the tires that allowed to break the world speed record in motorcycling - 279.5 km/h. Specializing in racing tires, Metzeler has always maintained a focus on safety, quality and performance.
Acquired in 1980 by the Italian Pirelli, the two brands have in their genesis the incessantly development of products using the latest technology. Distributed in Portugal by Sociedade Comercial do Vouga since 2013, Metzeler demand to meet the actual needs, demands and expectations of riders, always ensuring safety and reliability.
